Technology · Assessment and improvement
Let’s review what your Odoo needs to work better
If some processes still run outside the system, tasks get repeated or an implementation is not moving forward, we can help you sort out the situation and define the next steps.
We start with a free initial assessment. The scope of the full review is agreed separately.
A starting point to decide with better information
Before adding modules or developing new features, it helps to understand where the difficulty lies. It may be in the configuration, the data, an integration or the way people use the system.
We review the whole process to tell apart causes, dependencies and priorities.
When an assessment makes sense
- The implementation has progressed, but you still cannot operate normally.
- There are gaps between what the system records and what the areas need to look up.
- People still rely on spreadsheets to complete core tasks.
- There are developments or integrations whose behavior is not documented.
- You need to decide what to fix first and what can wait.
- You want to plan a new stage before expanding your use of Odoo.
What we review
Processes and usage
How the work is done, where difficulties arise and which tasks are left outside the system.
Configuration and permissions
How workflows are organized and who takes part in each step.
Data
What information is recorded, where there are inconsistencies and what validations are needed.
Integrations and development
Which systems are connected, who maintains them and what dependencies exist.
Adoption
What the team knows, what it needs to learn and which process decisions are still open.
The depth of each review is defined by the scope. This service does not replace an accounting audit or a full cybersecurity assessment.
What you receive
| Deliverable | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Situation summary | Share a view of the current state and its main difficulties |
| Map of reviewed processes and dependencies | Understand which areas, data and systems are involved |
| Prioritized list of findings | Separate urgent issues, causes and possible improvements |
| Intervention recommendations | Evaluate configuration, training, data cleanup, integration or development |
| Phased plan | Define the order of work, the people needed and the next steps |
When the available information allows it, the plan includes a preliminary estimate of the effort required for the improvements. Execution is quoted with its own scope and conditions.
How we work
We define the review
We talk about the problems, the state of the project and the information available. We agree on what will be reviewed and which access is needed.
We survey and cross-check
We review examples of day-to-day work, documentation and configuration within the scope. We identify what needs further validation.
We organize the findings
We prioritize by operational impact, dependency and estimated effort. We separate what was observed from what is still a hypothesis.
We define how to continue
We present recommendations and a plan for the next stage. You decide what moves forward and with what scope.
Assessing and executing are different jobs
The assessment delivers an evaluation and recommendations. Changes in production, development, migrations or additional training are agreed as a specific stage. That way you can review priorities before committing to execution.
Frequently asked questions
Can you review an implementation done by another provider?
Yes, we can assess the state of the system and the project. To do so we need authorized access to the relevant information and to know the existing responsibilities and restrictions.
Does the review involve changing the system?
By default, the assessment does not include changes in production. If a necessary fix is identified, its scope, validation and timing are agreed.
What information do you need?
A description of the problems, the processes affected, the Odoo version and hosting, the integrations and the documentation available. Access is coordinated later; do not send credentials through the web form.
Can you do the assessment if documentation is missing?
We can evaluate how to rebuild the information needed. Missing documentation may extend the survey or limit some conclusions; we make this explicit when agreeing on the work.
Does the assessment include a quote for the improvements?
It includes priorities and next steps. How precise an estimate can be depends on what could be reviewed. Improvements that need more definition are quoted once that information is complete.
Do we have to change providers to work with Reswoy?
It is not a condition of the assessment. We can define a limited review and coordinate responsibilities with the teams already involved, according to the existing agreements.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
It depends on the processes, integrations, developments and documentation being reviewed. After the initial assessment we present the scope, deliverables and conditions of the assessment.
Shall we start?
Let’s sort out the next step
Tell us what is happening, how it affects your operation and what you need to solve first. We can start there.
Free initial assessment. We review your situation and what you need to solve, and propose the next steps.
